Clover John Innes Enriched Multi-Purpose Compost is ideal for promoting healthy growth from seed to full bloom. It has a rich natural base of the finest Irish Moss Peat with a perfect balance of lime and plant foods.
SEEDS
Clover Multi Purpose has been specially blended to suit delicate flower and seed vegetable seeds, however it may be necessary to sieve and reduce to a finer grade particle size if filling smaller seed cells.
Fill the tray to just below the rim and tap gently until the surface is level. Sow the seeds thinly and cover lightly with compost. Water the tray carefully. Cover the tray with glass and newspaper to create a warm moist atmosphere. Remove the glass and newspaper when the seeds have germinated.
SEEDLINGS
Healthy growth and colour of developing plants in ensured by the use of this multipurpose. Transplant seedlings to pots when they are large enough to handle and remember to water regularly. Never lift seedlings by the stems as these are easily damaged. Lift them by the leaves.
POTTING
Fill the new pot halfway with this compost and leave enough room for the plant and its existing compost. Place the plant in the centre. Fill in around the plant and use finger tips to gently firm down. Regular watering is recommended and a liquid feed should be added with each watering after four weeks. This will enhance colour and vigour.
HANGING BASKETS
This compost is ideal for hanging baskets, with its special blend of nutrients and wetting agent. Fill the hanging basket halfway and leave enough room for the plant and its existing compost. Place the plant in the centre. Fill in around the plant and use finger tips to gently firm down. Regular watering is recommended and a liquid feed should be added with each watering after four weeks. This will enhance colour and vigour.
CUTTINGS
Fill a pot or seed tray to 1/2" below top rim with this compost and use a pencil or dibber to make holes for the cuttings. Position the prepared cuttings and firm in gently. To create a moist atmosphere, water and cover with a plastic bag. Transplant into pots when roots appear.

Product Volumes
All products are allocated an approximate volumetric size for delivery, multiple small items will fit into a 25kg volume sized parcel whereas most compost and fertiliser bags are around 25kg volumetric size. Delivery pricing is based on volumetric size or weight, whichever is higher to meet courier specifications.

Note: Some products are too heavy or large to send by courier, these can only be delivered using our CTS delivery or collection. If you have products in your basket that are within courier limits along with restricted courier products, the courier delivery method will not be available.
We do not include delivery prices in the product price, which allows us to keep product costs down.
